MeLDE in Münster

Anfang April 2019 kam das MeLDE-Projekt zum ersten Mal in die schönste Fahrrad-Stadt Deutschlands. Die Gäste aus Zypern, Griechenland und Großbritannien trafen sich vom 2. bis 3.04.2019 und konnten abgesehen von intensiven Projektsitzungen die deutsche Kultur kennenlernen.

Die zweite offizielle Projektsitzung fand im Bennohaus statt. Dort trafen sich die Teilnehmer aus Großbritannien (University of Wolverhampton), Zypern (Emphasys Centre, Antenna) und Griechenland (Demokritos), um die nächsten Schritte des Projekts zu besprechen. Die Partnerorganisationen sind momentan dabei, den ersten intellectual output zu vervollständigen: einen vergleichenden Bezugsrahmen mit Details über den derzeitigen Stand der Digitalisierung an Schulen in den teilnehmenden Ländern, über Bedürfnisse der Schüler und Lehrer sowie über Maßstäbe und Indikatoren, nach welchen das Lernen der Schüler bewertet wird. Außerdem wurde der Zeitpunkt des nächsten internationalen Treffens festgelegt; es wird im Oktober 2019 in Athen (Griechenland) stattfinden.

Das Projekt “MeLDE – Digital Literacy in the Digitalised era: supporting teachers through a whole-school approach” hat das Ziel, relevante und qualitativ hochwertige Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen zu entwickeln sowie Zugang zu Bildung und innovativen Anwendungen im digitalen Zeitalter zu ermöglichen, indem die zu entwickelnden Methoden für die Teilnahme am MeLDE-Programm und für die Aus- und Bewertung der erworbenen Fähigkeiten frei zugänglich gemacht werden. Zudem geht es darum, mittels einer zu entwickelnden professionellen Fortbildung das Profil von Lehrern zu verbessern, also das Bildungs-Werkzeug, das dabei behilflich ist, digitale Fertigkeiten zu erlernen und zu lehren.

Das Projekt wird durch das Programm Erasmus+ der Europäischen Union unterstützt.


The beginning of April 2019 was the time for MeLDE project to visit the loveliest bike city in Germany. Guests from Cyprus, Greece and the UK met between 2.-3.04.2019, and apart from intensive project meeting could have experience German culture.

The second official project meeting took place in the Bennohaus. There, the participants from the UK (University of Wolverhampton), Cyprus (Emphasys Centre, Antenna) and Greece (Demokritos) met in order to discuss the next steps of the project. The partner organisations are now in the process of finalising the Intellectual Output 1 – a comparative FRAMEWORK with details of the current state of digitalisation in schools of the partner countries, students’ and teachers’ needs, and benchmarks and indicators against which students’ learning will be assessed. What is more, the date of the next transnational meeting has been set; it will take place in Athens, Greece in October 2019.

MeLDE – Digital Literacy in the Digitalised era: supporting teachers through a whole-school approach – aims to develop relevant and high quality skills and competences and to open education and innovative practices in the digital era by offering open and free access to the tools to be developed both for participation in the MeLDE programme and for online assessment and validation of the skills acquired. It also aims to strengthen the profiles of teachers through the professional development course to be developed, the educational pack to be created to support teaching and learning of digital media skills.
